Crashing Acoustic
Get ready for live acoustic performances this summer featuring organic versions of the songs off "Monday Changed Everything". The band has confirmed a number of shows in the coming months. Stay tuned for more information to be announced.

Monday Changed Everything
The new album is out now! The official release was kicked off with a special CD release party at the Magic Bag in Ferndale Michigan . Thanks to all who came out to make it a great show. Check out the album on the music page.

Chrismas Rest
"2007 was a memorable first year for Crashing Cairo.  We completed the recording of our first album and played some cool shows in the Detroit area.  We hope to deliver more in 2008 and are excited about releasing this new album soon.  Unfortunately, this past October, we lost a good friend and band member, Dan Denton.  He has been sorely missed.  We want Dans wife and two sons, Patty, Nate and Jake, to know that we are thinking about them and hope to see them soon.

OnDemand with Comcast

New website
Here is Crashing Cairo's new website.  We want to thank Amy Claeys for providing some of the killer photos that we've selected for the site.  We hope to feature more of her work in the future.  For now, sit back and peruse the sight.  We hope you enjoy it.

Passing of our good friend and keyboardist
We are very sad to announce the passing of our good friend and band member Dan Denton on Monday October 15th, 2007.   He is survived by his wife and two sons.  Dan was a gifted musician and outstanding song writer.   The depth of his musical contributions cannot be measured.  We will miss his creative spirit and the comfort of his friendship.
